Hofmann - the story!
Establishment of the company’s headquarters by Mr. engineer Herbert HOFMANN in Linz, Wegscheid.
Take-over of the business by the works manager Mr. engineer Hermann Gründl.
Rebuiling of the headquarters in Wegscheid.Extension of the production area by 1500 m ² .
Launch of the company HOFMANN Industrieofenbau Ges.m.b.H. & Co.KG. in Hellmonsödt.
Start of building the new headquarters in Hellmonsödt.
Completion of the new company.
In 1999 Mr. engineer Gründl goes into his well-deserved retirement and his daughter Isolde and her husband Wolfgang Niederländer take over the company.

In this year the world's biggest Alu-Aging furnace with 2x650m³ was taken in order. The aluprofiles have a length of 65m and they are cutted to the required lenght after ageing.

After completion of some restructuring measures the company name changed into HOFMANN Wärmetechnik GmbH.
2005
Meanwhile HOFMANN furnaces can be found on all continents.

At the beginning the production program contained irons, spotlight electric blankets and little laboratory furnaces which were built from cookie doses.
