Furnaces for welding consumables
The 2SPT Welding Powder Dryer, the PETS Powder and Electrode Drying Cabinet and the ETK Electrode Drying Quiver are used for reliable drying of electrodes and/or welding powder. This creates the prerequisite for clean and mechanically loadable welding seams.
Drying furnaces for welding flux and electrodes
Welding often results in inferior welds and costly rework becomes necessary. Electrodes and welding fluxes are hygroscopic; they absorb moisture from the air even when the open package is stored for a short time and subsequently tend to form pores during welding. If their original welding quality is to be restored, they must be dried precisely and kept dry.
HOFMANN offers three different models of dryers for this purpose:
- Model 2 SPT, a 2-chamber welding powder dryer.
- Model PETS, a powder and electrode drying oven
- Model ETK, a portable electrode drying oven
